At PA Pain & Spine Institute, we are committed to delivering exceptional care to individuals living with chronic pain. Our team of board-certified specialists takes a personalized and multidisciplinary approach to pain management, addressing the unique needs of each patient. Whether you're dealing with back pain, neuropathy, joint issues, or complex regional pain syndrome, we offer a range of advanced diagnostic tools and minimally invasive treatments designed to restore function and improve quality of life.
Interventional Pain Management is a specialized area of medicine focused on diagnosing and treating chronic pain through minimally invasive techniques. Unlike traditional pain relief methods that rely heavily on medication, interventional procedures target the source of pain directly. These techniques include nerve blocks, epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablation, and spinal cord stimulation—each designed to offer long-term relief and improve a patient’s quality of life.
Minimally invasive spine procedures offer patients effective relief from back and neck pain with less trauma to the body compared to traditional open surgery. By using advanced imaging technology and specialized instruments, surgeons can target the problem area with smaller incisions, resulting in reduced blood loss, minimal scarring, and faster recovery times. These techniques are ideal for treating a variety of conditions such as herniated discs, spinal stenosis, and degenerative disc disease.
Cutting Edge Technologies
Our mission is to improve the lives of the patients we serve by reducing and treating pain using the newest, minimally invasive methods available. Our purpose is for you to avoid drastic surgeries while receiving the right care to improve your quality of life. We offer many new cutting edge treatments that are not available at most local practices.
Managing chronic pain often requires a comprehensive approach, and medication can play a vital role in reducing symptoms and improving quality of life. At PA Pain & Spine Institute, our medical team works closely with patients to create customized treatment plans that incorporate safe and effective medication options. We carefully evaluate each individual’s needs, history, and condition to determine the most appropriate medications, whether they involve non-opioid analgesics, muscle relaxants, or nerve pain treatments.
At PA Pain & Spine Institute, our Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) services are designed to help patients restore function, reduce pain, and improve quality of life after injury or chronic illness. Our team takes a comprehensive, patient-centered approach—focusing not only on treating symptoms but also on helping individuals regain strength, mobility, and independence through tailored care plans. Whether you're recovering from surgery, managing a long-term condition, or healing after an accident, our specialists work closely with you to optimize your recovery journey.
Persistent pain can significantly disrupt daily life, limiting mobility, sleep, and emotional well-being. For patients who have not found relief through traditional treatments, neuromodulation offers an innovative and effective approach. These therapies involve the use of electrical stimulation to modulate nerve activity and interrupt pain signals before they reach the brain. By targeting the source of chronic pain, neuromodulation can provide long-lasting relief and improve overall function.
Regenerative medicine offers a revolutionary approach to pain management by targeting the root causes of pain rather than just masking symptoms. Using cutting-edge therapies like platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and stem cell treatments, regenerative medicine helps stimulate the body’s natural healing processes to repair damaged tissues, reduce inflammation, and restore function. These minimally invasive techniques are especially beneficial for patients suffering from chronic joint pain, sports injuries, arthritis, and other musculoskeletal conditions.
Our specialists treat a wide range of conditions through evidence-based chronic pain relief treatments, including:
✅ Chronic back and neck pain
✅ Herniated discs
✅ Sciatica
✅ Neuropathy
✅ Joint pain

Posted on Rose BrusilovskyNovember 30, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had spinal stenosis of my back plus different other problems of my spine and my hips. I couldn’t stand on my feet for longer than a half an hour and walking was out of question. And I used to walk 3 to 5 miles with no problem. After having both of my hips replaced I was getting ready for the back surgery when I came to Dr Kelly with my granddaughter with her knee problem. I told him about my problems and he told me about MILD procedure which I never knew about. I decided to try it. Dr Bozak performed the procedure. Now a month later I can stand on my feet with no pain and I am starting to walk. I couldn’t be more happier and I am not having back surgery. Thank you Dr Kelly and Dr Bozak.Posted on Robert BordeauxNovember 21, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. First of all I felt very welcome when I arrived. I had a very bad experience at my previous pain center after going there for 15 years. Dr. Boyd and his assistant helped me to get off of a very strong opiate that the previous clinic prescribed. I am forever grateful! They are compassionate and really listen. I am very pleased.Posted on Heather SheldonNovember 21, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Several weeks ago I had a procedure done. I decided to wait to see how it went before giving a review. Dr Boyd is an excellent and meticulous doctor which is comforting to me and to anyone considering injections. The neck was somewhat alleviated and for my bulging disc and stenosis I am thankful. The attention to detail is wonderful from Doctor Boyd and those assisting him. I felt very cared for and professionally treated yet with warmth and kindness. I highly recommend Dr Boyd , He seems to always find the inflammation area most needed for attention!!! Thank you Dr Boyd for all your efforts, compassion and guidance. Also the office staff Kaitlynn and Lisa are such amazing staff and so patient, kind and make coming to office so welcoming, enjoyable and easy to problem solve. Also Hope is remarkable in office calls to adjust scheduling and other important issues. Of course the attending staff with the doctor were just what I needed and appreciated!!!!’ Due to my inability to to stomach/tolerate steroids I must have minimal amounts of steroids- so don’t base my outcome due to the fine tuning Dr Boyd has done on my whole body’s response to certain medications. We do what we can and I am glad for such careful and thorough protection of the whole patient. Thank you again Dr. Boyd!!!Posted on EDITH FRANKSOctober 2, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Office Staff and Doctor were very pleasant and knowledgeable.
